suitable engine coolants

Would engine ice be allowable coolant for track day use? They claim it is WERA, CCS, AMA road racing approved.

Engine Ice still has glycol in it. The glycol is very slippery and hard to clean up if it gets on the track.

Glycol based coolants, including Engine ice, is not allowed in PRE intermediate or advanced groups.

Distilled water plus Water Wetter (which is found at any auto parts store) is the best thing to use for track days. Just keep in mind it does not have any anti freeze properties so prepare accordingly when it’s time to winterize the bike.

 :agree:
Engine Ice is Not legal for WERA  and Motoamerica only allows straight water with no additives at all.

Pretty much what I thought, when I raced WERA only water/water & water wetter where allowed. I though their claims were bogus
