Everyone, I'm with Jean-Luc at Duke.  He is up and about and doing well, except he can't use his bandaged right hand, his left arm is in a sling and his rib hurt, especially when he tries to laugh.  But otherwise, he's doing great and he sends his thanks for all the get well wishes.  He doesn't remember anything except following the control rider and waking up in the ambulance.  At the speed he was going, I don't think he could have locked the front tire up, I can only suspect that he happened to turn on top of something too small for people to notice on the track and that the bike dropped onto him.  But I guess we'll never really know.
Thanks again to everyone for handling this so well, it certainly kept me from freaking out.

Really glad he's OK; continue to send him our well-wishes! I learned a little about unexpected lowsides Monday myself.

Always sucks to hear somebody got hurt. Glad he's up and about. Hope to make it to the next event.

Great news he is getting better. Its hard in those situations when information is at a minimum, buts its always best to wait and try and stay as calm as possible. Hope to see him out there again once he is 100%
