Sounds like my story, crashed in T1 my first ever track day which happened to be on south. Been coming back for more ever since :) Are you looking at a new Ninja 300? Why not just pick up a used bike from the forums already setup for the track?

I wa thinking about starting small, and doing it right to make it for my lack of riding at age 4 ( like pnuts kid lol)

Money isn't "not" an issue, but it have a good purse I can spend off the bat.

I was thinking a 300, hut a few guys are telling me a sv650 will do just fine, but I just found a really good deal on an 07 r6 on wera classifieds with a lot of spares and extras, so I don't even know at this point what I'll get.

Waiting for the insurance check to clear, then I'll buy gear and see what my options are after that.

Hell, I really "want" a new 636. But I can't really pass up a bike with extra clip ons rearsets tires wheels and body work lol

You should go with an sv 650  or an 600 already set up for the track, the best deal going is to find one with all the goodies and have it set up for you by a good mechanic with race tuning experience.  You will spend all of you money on this hobby, just try not to do it all at once if you don't have to.
