Fuel Cut on Decel Disabled - Feedback?
« on: July 14, 2020, 09:38:05 AM »

Getting the ECU flashed on the new to me bike.  I understand the concept of disabling 'fuel cut on decel' but have read mixed reviews elsewhere on how it feels.  Have opinions/feedback?

Also, are there other concerns with doing it?  I've read it will often cause misfires.

TIA

Isn’t it just a toggle item in FTECU tuning software?

In other words if you are flashing your bike. Leave it enabled ride it. Then get out the laptop and toggle it to disable and see what it does.
On GSXR I always noticed it took snatchie throttle away and made zero throttle to that 3-5% open to put some tension on the top side of the chain at apex easier to manage.
