NCBike new config?
« on: March 17, 2020, 02:52:11 PM »

Assuming NCBike is on... which it will be. Will we run the new config?
Maybe this?
Saturday = CW
Sunday = CCW new config

I think JRA has already stated that we won't make a call either way until we see the final product.

The pic you provided which is shot in the CCW direction has a huge area of concern for me. There is a concrete drainage embankment in the direct path of anyone who loses control midway through. But whos to say that will be there when they are done. So we should probably just sit tight and wait to see what it looks like when they are done.

Physical on site assessment. No call prior. Sam knows where we were concerned. If it is addressed we will consider options. I will ask this what benefits do you think you get by riding one way one day the other way the next. I’ll answer that. Zero.
If deemed safe CCW I would seek events that run  to two days one way or the other.  What do I know I have been at this for some time and am taking Covid 19 serious so by all means I’m a kook

One of the things I've always liked about PRE vs others is that NCBike is always CW AFAIK. I have run NCB CCW a couple of times before with other orgs and always thought the Pit In/Pit Out was too dangerous.

I brought up CCW because I heard that the CCS event this year will be CCW.

All of this.  The greatest thing about our two-day events is that you can run the same track again after learning the first day.  OMG North-North  :-)

And yes.  COVID-19 is effing serious.
