Quick Shifter Question
« on: April 22, 2019, 08:20:45 AM »

Good morning ladies and Gents.

My questions for the day is this:

How smooth is your quick shifter?   I have a PC5 type, shifts seem pretty harsh at wide open throttle.  Anyone running this set up?  Roughly what ms do you have your  kill times set at?

TIA

Mine is bazzaz and I had the same problem at first. I was told to never mess with the kill times because you will ruin the trans but to adjust the sensitivity so I did and that fixed it. But not sure if PC is the same

If your quick shifter is harsh you need to adjust kill times on the Dyno.  Or you can try at the track.  Also make sure all of your shifter linkage and mechanism is is solid working order, Clean and lubed properly, Not flopping about and bent with no lube.
