Tech question about bar ends.
« on: March 19, 2019, 06:26:09 AM »

Getting my bike ready for the opener at VIR and came across this from the policy page.
All handle bars must have bar ends. No sharp or pointy bar ends, levers, foot pegs, or bolts will be allowed. Bars and foot pegs should be tight, shift linkage should be tight, as well as all other bolts and fasteners.

My current clip ons just have a rubber soft plug on the end. Does this meet the requirement? If not, do I need to order some bolt on bar ends?

Thanks for the help.

Best regards,

Byron

The rubber plug is fine. We're more concerned with aesthetic add-ons to bar ends. See you soon!

Spiky bar ends and crash filed bar ends that could cut thru metal are the concerning ones.
Anything that looks like it could cut or puncture is a no no!

Look forward to riding with you!
