« on: June 18, 2018, 12:59:00 PM »

So far reviewing the Film and I still have more to view by the way but after first few sessions. I would
like to offer my observations.

1. First Man to Purgatory. Shetty!!! Good on you buddy
2. Joey Bristow I think you owe $5
3. This was not just for the advanced guys. Ahem I count another $60 owed by I group at least.

Oh yeah - I made it into purgatory. Was trying to see just how long I could keep the throttle open on the R1 rocketship.

After that I decided the 5 board was definitely too late.....

If you kept the throttle open until the 5 board you only had it a quarter of the way open to begin with lol. My brake maker is the center of the chicane, and I can barely get it slowed down from there. Okay wait, I can usually barely get it slowed down from there :D

I found my way in there several times Friday and Saturday. The jar was settled by me Saturday night with no return visits on Sunday. Such a great idea, whoever came up with this!!!!!!! lol

I think that was another PRE blue and white GSXR I saw in there. That guy was really fast. Only took him three turns to catch and pass me after he left. That definitely would not have been you. LOL

I went in once but not due to late braking. My clip on managed to twist a hair and the lever guard held the clutch half way in. So I went into the run off to make sure there was no major problem. I still owe $5 for that?

....and that's why I was in purgatory....

(edit) After further thought I'm going to go back and check the data from the bike and cameras later this week as it's possible I wasn't in the throttle for as long as I thought

I was braking right at the 5 mark/just before on the 300 and It was pinned all the way down.  RSV4 I was letting off at the beginning/middle (mostly beginning) of the chicane and sometimes questioning if I would get it to stop.  I guess there is a slight speed difference between the v4 and the 300

I put my money in the jar. Only went in twice surprisingly. Guess I need to brake later  :dunno:
