As with most How To’s there should always be a disclaimer that states:
“All instructions are written by me, information provided is based on my personal experience and knowledge. However I am a PROFESSIONAL. You are advised that all information provided and taken from this post will be at your own risk. The contents of this post are shared accordingly and may not necessary reflect your own personal ability, you are reading this post at your own free will.”Now onto the good stuff… So you feel that you can do better in all aspects of life? That you are not maximizing your true potential? That the lump of
on your head you call hair is just not reflecting who you truly are?
If you answered yes to any of those questions then you are in the right place! If you said no, you most likely are bald as f@ck and should talk to Kenny (Irish01) about how to be a Bald Bad A$$.
Step 1: Start with moist hair, always start with moist hair. This should go without saying, but if you’re reading this you are most likely a complete noob and need it spelled out for you!
Step 2: Not everyone can rock any hair style, understand what you hair is telling you and don’t ask too much of it. We’re not all Brad Pitt so calm the F down and stay in your lane
Step 3: Choose a quality product. If you want that hard as a rock, go clubbing all night look, then gel is your weapon. If you desire a good hold, but still want that windblown look, Texture Cream is where it’s at. My first and only choice is J Beverly Hills – Shaper
http://www.jbeverlyhills.com/shaper. J Beverly has been my off track sponsor for years and knows his
. I have worked with them to develop a product that creates that barber look with no build up and does not cause flaking, all while delivering a matte finish.
Step 4: Once you have decided on your style, pull out your trusty sticker remover and get to work. Some people call them hair dryers, but in the manly world of motor sports this multi use tool is great for putting on and taking off all your sponsor’s stickers. I have found great success at a low price point with my other sponsor, ConAir. Their Ionic Turbo Styler
http://www.conair.com/ionic-turbo-styler-p-860-1_7_65.html does a great job of styling without over drying your hair. Be careful not to dry your hair completely, just enough to help it hold its place while still leaving enough moisture to style.
Step 5: Application, now that you have used your sticker remover to style your hair, start from the back working forward and evenly distributing the product throughout the moist styled hair. Use your fingers to style as you apply the product. The key is not to work TOO much, once you have achieved even application of product STOP! Too much tinkering can lead to a dark place.
Step 6: Set it for the evening. I find just a little bit of grip lubricant/adhesive will keep your do in place all night and still leave your hair soft enough for the ladies to enjoy (if you know what I mean). Some people call it hair spray, but in the manly world of motor sports this multi use liquid is both a lubricant and an adhesive, great for putting on, and keeping new grips in place. Once again I have found great success at a low price point with my other sponsor, TRESemme. Their Tres Two Extra Hold Hair Spray
http://www.tresemme.com/product/detail/332952/tres-two-extra-hold-hair-spray is the final word in men’s hair care and grip installation.
With these 6 simple steps you should easily be able to maximize you’re off track hair potential. What is the point of “Blazing Hot Laps” if you look like ass off track…That’s what I thought!
Nothing is more discouraging than unappreciated sarcasm.
