Welcome!

What can you tell me about the Dunlop rain tire options for the little bikes? 110 front 140-150 rear sizes?

Jim, I believe there are 3 or 4 people that want these. There were a few of us that purchased 300's this winter to make them into fun / rain bikes.

Glad to see your increased involvement at the track!

Alpha 13s all the way guys. KTM bikes had tons of grip on these things last year.

I am sure Jim is getting details worked and soon will be able put up a price sheet.
Prices on Dunlop are lower this year so time to run some new race rubber.

I agree that Alpha 13s are great tires. That's what I'm running. But looking for a full rain tire. Rumor has it Dunlop is coming out with a new one this year.

Looking forward to see what MaxSpeed has for us little guys :)

Regarding the Alpha, can it be safely used as a street tire?

I know a few guys who have ridden then on the street.  They are a race tire so you must understand that and ride accordingly.

So what is a good street/track tire for that bike? Q3?

Dunlop does not make a Q3 for the little bikes. They have a tire called the GPR 300. Not sure how that tire stacks up.

Most people run a Diablo Rosso II or S20 for street and track. Though a few guys just run the Alphas on the street and they hold up OK.
