Unlike most tracks, there are decent accommodations just around the track. I want to say last time I brought my special lady friend with me to RA, we stayed at a Best Western + (https://goo.gl/maps/yZKgbW4MZnr) for $100/night and it was great. There are cheaper but I am a bougie bitch and demand a minimum in my accommodations

I can go this route and I have been going back and forth on it... but I have been trying to sleep in my trailer because well, its cheaper.

I've tented at RA the last two years. The showers aren't perfect, but they're good enough that I don't pay 100 bucks a night and lose an extra 40 minutes of time to travel to and from a hotel anymore (especially now that I generally come alone). I walk across the track, get cleaned up, and come back happy. The critters are just bonus.

Having said that, I will second Kyle's recommendation in the event that you do opt for a hotel. We've stayed at that Best Western Plus in Lake Lanier several times, and it's pretty decent.

3rd'd.  I've stayed there as well.  It is a nice hotel.  DO NOT confuse it with the Best Western In Brasleton.  It is... errr... not the same.

They are continuing to make improvements to the facility. I didn't go over to the bathroom in the old paddock over the weekend so I don't know if they've done anything there or not, but what you see as you drive around looks noticeably nicer.

JRA - did you notice if they put in receptacles for 50A power at the breaker boxes yet?

The bathroom in the old paddock have hot water. Very hot water. A pit bike is almost required at RA because it's so spread out. As usual I'll cover all of the most frequently asked questions in the email.

I didn’t see anything in the email about how long the roll of quarters is going to last you for the bed..

There's some in the paddock for sure. It didn't look like they had done anything new to the paddock power situation, but I know for sure there are several scattered around.

^Or bring your own breakers - I think that’s what a lot of people did last year. I don’t need much to power what I have in my little trailer, but the toy hauler folks had breakers and their whatever-size adapters for their plugs...*slightly sketchy*
