MotoAmerica races at VIR replays
« on: May 19, 2017, 10:55:56 AM »

KTM RC Cup Race 1

Supersport Race 1

Superbike Race 1 (this one is pretty crazy. A must watch in my opinion!)

I'll post the Sunday's races when/if they show up.

I and many others appreciate these threads. IMO BeIn should be paying you to help their distribution!

I've experienced the pain of attempting to get races via BeIN as well, so I'm more than happy to help out when I can.

Having the races on BeIN seems to be on the right track. Hopefully they will expand their coverage with additional cable and satellite providers. But it is nice they post the races to their YouTube channel a couple days later.

I actually had a colleague (who knows I track ride) come up to me at work and said he and his kids came across motorcycle racing over the weekend and enjoyed watching it. They are getting some additional audience it seems.

Some nice shots of the air fence and PRE!  And very entertaining races.

Dan that is great to hear. We need more young folks finding and enjoying the sport. The success of road racing in the US depends on more people. More people participating and more people watching.
For awhile the concern has been BeIN is pretty limited so hard for people to casually bump into programming. Glad to hear it is happening.
Every year MA has improved in coverage so we can only assume the product will continue to get better.
Classic Chicken or the egg argument.
Do we get a bigger fan base if more teams show up or is it the other way around.
Has been some good racing this year.
I hope they boost the image quality. Also get some folks behind the camera and in the booth that understand all the racing isn't always at the front.
Obviously you have to focus on the leaders but there has been some solid racing throughout the field this year. Bobby Fong is  selling a bunch of Kawasaki for that company this year.

Pitt Race is a great edition as a new track for everyone really levels the field.

Great to see "stock" bikes mixing it up with the Superbikes.
Mat Scholtz putting it out front in testing for Pitt Race. It's not a race but Kas confirmed for me the laps all those guys were busting are really fast.
