Relatively New to P.R.E.
« on: May 17, 2017, 01:24:35 PM »

Hello,  :tiphat:

I'm George, and I am from Clemmons, NC. So I have met a couple of the PRE guys before, and I have previously ridden with PRE once at VIR at the beginning of the season. I also volunteered at MotoAmerica this past weekend thanks to PRE, and watching the pro's destroy my lap times in the rain was freaking awesome! Appreciate the opportunity again John! I have been riding for about 8 months now, and have quickly become enthralled with track riding.  I ride a black and red 2015 Yamaha R6 with the number 107, and I am in I Group. I'll hopefully be at VIR on Monday, May 22nd, and if we haven't met yet, I look forward to meeting and riding with each and every one of you.

See you all soon,

Welcome (again?) to PRE George.

I think after this past weekend we're all completely humbled by the Pro's and totally excited to get back on track ASAP!

Hope to see you out there soon.

Welcome George.  If I am not mistaken you have been by the shop.  Good to see you heading out to the track on Monday.  If you need anything just give a shout.

Yes, sir! Thanks for the help this weekend. Glad I switched my tires out to enjoy the rainy first session!

This is really the only pic I have, and please ignore the TPM sticker. It's now been replaced by a PRE I group sticker, and it's going to remain that way, until I get the bump to A group someday!

I hope you did as well dude! That was the best day of riding I think I've ever had. It's crazy how much riding in the rain increased my confidence in the dry. I just gotta work on getting on the throttle earlier to get better drive out of the corners!

:agree:   Riding in the rain is a good learning tool.  It forces you to slow down and work on fundamentals. Yesterday was perfect, couple wet sessions in the morning for practice and some great dry track in the afternoon to use what you just learned in the wet.   I still cant believe that some people refuse to ride in the rain.  :banghead:       Glad you had fun out there.

Same with me. I ran personal bests yesterday and I think part of that was practicing in the rain.

If Josh was still taking pics we might have some good ones together. We went through hog pen side by side multiple times.. Same with turn 1 and 3. Lol

Not sure if u knew I was there or not. You were riding good. I couldn't quite get by without it being a lil sketchy. Lol
