They asked him about it after the race and he didn't even seem to remember. Just what he does these days I guess.

Ya' know I don't really care for him... but make no mistake... the guy can ride a freakin' motorcycle.  That much is certain.  It is impressive to watch.

Yeah when he had his front end moment this past weekend in the race all I could think of is how does the guy ever crash with all the saves he pulls off at critical moments.
Not my favorite but true kid can ride.
Very surprised at Danny this weekend. Post race guy takes P2 and uncharacteristic of him adds his comment about Rossi moving over on him on the straight. Please Danny please. Don't become one of the whiners that bitches about this move or that move. You took second.

I liked Rossi's response.

"If he’s not happy Pedrosa have to race alone, I think,"

Six championships at age 24??? As much of a man-crush as I have on Rossi...Marquez is going to obliterate the record books before it’s all said and done. That kid is something special for sure.

Did you see the front end slide he saved during the race?  Holy crap!  :wow:   He's done that sort of thing so frequently this year that you know its no longer luck... its him.  He's just that good.

He really is something to watch.  Truly impressive stuff.

27 Crashes this season could have easily been 37 if not for some amazing saves. Gotta give credit where it is due he owns the front end.

You have to wonder why he put himself in the position to have to save it. All he had to do was finish 5th and he almost wrecked multiple times. I get he's a win it or bin it guy but come on last race.......just bring it home in 5th. :)

And this is why it's not a given that he'll end up with all the records. The sport is not very forgiving for making mistakes, so sooner later he's going to have a big one. It doesn't matter how good he is, with that many crashes year after hear it will catch up to him, especially as he gets a little older. He already had a big one in Moto2 that could have ended his career even before he got to MotoGP. The guy is on and over the edge like nobody else all the time. Just the law of averages says that eventually catches up to him.

Some guys can’t ride if they dial it back. Westby was same way 18 seconds up in Rain at NJMP and never let up. When I asked him with a blank board showing every lap why he kept pushing. His reply was Hell I didn’t want to come off my pace and wreck.
Sometimes you can’t help it I guess.
