I️ think I’m stealing all of these goals for next year :)

Mike, do you have a motion pro throttle on your bike? The stock throttle is hard to get wide open.

I didn't come close to achieving my goals. I made a huge mistake of letting an inanimate object dictate how I rode and felt about riding. The light at the end of the tunnel is on my second lap ever riding my new bike I set a PB at CMP. Lots of potential to improve next year and more importantly, have more fun.

So much LIKE for this as it's really good to hear!!! Yeah, the R1 is a great bike - unfortunate that the Kawi gave you such headaches.

As for the throttle - yeah it's still stock at the moment. I found I needed to adjust my hand to get it to WOT which I didn't really like. Might go w/ a Motion Pro in the off season.

YEC throttle Mike. Not the progressive that Graves sells but the race throttle tube over motion pro.
Uses stock cables and is a quick install. Gives you a nice 1/4

I hadn't looked into (or needed) a quick turn throttle until now, I think - would you suggest the same for the R6? I found myself having to readjust my grip like Kuhno said to make sure I got the speed I needed as quickly as I needed, if that makes sense.

And as far as MY goals went...they're sort of mixed. On the one hand, making "I" group was, sincerely, one of the happiest days of my life! Can't wait to see what the future holds riding with all of you...it has been more fun than I ever could've imagined  :D

On the other hand, I've SEVERELY slacked off with my level of physical fitness. In 2016, I was in the best shape of my life and it really helped my riding. This year, not so much. I have all winter to get back where I was, previously - hoping some of you will run the track(s) with me once they go cold in the afternoons in 2018

So will this one work with all the stock cables, etc?

My bad - I've never needed nor looked into getting a quick turn throttle. Just trying to do a little research, is all  :D
