GSXR 1000 forks left from a race bike I recently sold. Excellent shape, seals good and less than 5k miles on them. Only the most minimal of cosmetic scratches from removing and the 5,000 miles of use. Price is picked up in Horsham, PA. Shipping if necessary is at your expense. Looking for $175

How in the world did I miss this thread?!

Bike looks awesome, Daniel - if/when I get new bodywork for the R6, I'll go with Swenson designs as well. Richmond is just over an hour away from me and will make a nice day trip to get new clothes for my bike...

This will be directly after that chassis refresh from Ruhe that I keep saying I'm going to get

Thanks Shane!

Swenson Design lives up to the hype. Great designer/artist for sure. I told him just a few things and somehow he designed exactly what I was looking for. And the quality of the work is top notch. Not to mention very reasonable and fair to deal with. Only draw back is it took a while. To be expected IMO, as I’m sure he’s in high demand.

When it’s time for new bodywork,  Swenson Design is definitely worth it.

Hell yes, Daniel - I appreciate all the suggestions!

At least if I can't ride for crap, I'll at least LOOK like I can

It really is all about Perception

Now I'm leaning towards keeping my two-fiddy...because it's already at my house...lol.

So what say you guys and girls? 250 MX bike - an okay "trail bike?" Considering what I may have access to when the weather gets warm, I may need it ;)

250MX bike will certainly work fine on the trails. It is light weight and has plenty of suspension travel.

If you are concerned with whisky throttle then you might consider putting on a progressive throttle tube. G2 makes some options.

Also add some bark buster (or similar hand guards). You want the ones that wrap around the end of the handle bar to provide full protection.  G2 makes some as well.

Just make sure you stay off the podium or you will have to rethink your team name.    :tiphat: :tiphat:
No worries there! 4 hours of racing is going to kick my ass. I don't think I've ridden that long before. My goal is to only need to stop when it's time to refuel but will see.
