Q3+ 140/70-17 Pressures
« on: February 16, 2021, 06:52:28 AM »

Hi all, I have a copy of the 2021 Dunlop tire chart but it does not list recommended cold/hot pressures for the new 140/70-17 Q3+ rear.  Does anyone know at what pressures that tire should be run?  Thanks!

Typical starting point on a street / track oriented Dunlop start 31/31 and adjust from there

Thanks 52.  Barring any specific advice from Dunlop, we'll try that.

Dunlop does not have any specific info on just the 140 Q3+  On the 110 front they recommend: 30-30 psi cold  34-36 psi hot.   On the 150 rear the recommend: 24 psi cold and 26 psi hot.  On all of the other rears they recommend: 28-32 psi cold and 34-36 psi hot.

Thanks Viffer.  It sounds like you have the same chart that I do.

If you come across an updated one please post it.  Thanks!   :tiphat:

Yes I do.  Dunlop has that info out for everyone.  The same stuff they provide for us.  Glad you have found it.
Thanks

KK (Mrs. JAS) had a chance to try this tire out at RRR last weekend.  She started with 29.0 cold and that gave 33.0 hot.  Late in the afternoon we took it by the tire vendor and he said wear looks perfect.  That's just a random data point but maybe it will help someone else that is going to be running this tire.
