SC Sandhills Winter Riding
« on: November 23, 2021, 11:19:11 AM »

Hello PRE
I do a fair amount of DS riding in the SC Sandhills in the winter and wanted to send an invite out to you all to join.
The sandhills are about 30 minutes east of CMP. The terrain varies from gravel to  to clay to tight packed sand to nice fluffy deep sand. The riding is truly amazing, pretty high speeds (relatively to being off road) and sliding the front and rear tire through the corners is really good training, I think?
Plated bikes are a must since a lot of it is on public roads, that thankfully have little to no traffic. Some of the trail are also "Authorized Vehicles Only" which you can get a pass from the SC Sandhills State Park for a whopping $5. Give them a call, be super nice and they will mail it to you after sending in your documents.
Let me know if your interested. Headed down this Sunday 11/28 for the day.
