What a powerful testimony for the value of Air Fence!

Heard that Shane sent me video and info on CA. Glad he is essentially ok. First off that dude is nails to be walking anywhere but a morphine bath. Is say essentially because all crashes hurt that one left zero doubt on getting beat up!!!!
Also screw rodeo riders sorry Corey hung with a waaay more violent beast for waaaaaY too long but long enough for a fat belt buckle.

In the time of youtube where everyone is looking for a video, there isn't a better example than this of why airfence is important. If you're somebody who is now convinced because this video showed what can happen, count yourself fortunate that this was an accident that the rider walked away from, and you didn't to come to that realization from a different outcome involving someone you know. This is the whole reason we started these fundraising campaigns. Today makes the third time to our knowledge that Airfence has made a big difference in this same spot. There aren't a lot of crashes that happen there, but when they do they are bad.

There is now a new trailer at VIR, which we just had built, and it was delivered on Tuesday. We also have more airfence to fill it up that was delivered on Thursday. This means we can continue to cover this place on the track, and also cover other places more adequately than we have been able to before.

If you would like to help us in this effort please let us know. We still need sponsors for our fundraiser next month.

No kidding even after texting Roger Hayden the 411 on that after he commented on how lucky Corey, Kayla and Mat were this weekend. Would have been nice but frankly it’s not why we do it. We do it because it’s the right thing to do.

As John referred to above we were front row for a Good friend crashing into the tire wall back in 2009. There was no airfence then. Brian hit the tire wall backed by Armco and a hill at high speed and bounced partially back onto the track unconscious.
We almost lost him. Months at Duke in a coma and then Sheppard Spinal in Atlanta learning everything we take for granted in our lives all over.

It left such a lasting impression on me. That was the first fundraiser. To help Brian defray air transport and meet deductibles as well as other costs we can’t easily comprehend. Not too long after that…… Well if you ride with us you know the rest of the story. Safety is priority one.

Odds are we will never be satisfied with the amount of AirFence, but with our outstanding customers and staff that donate time and money to the cause we might come close. This weekend at VIR provided many examples as to why when the barrier isn’t being deployed at an event the first thought in your head should be “Hell no”
